Erik M. Ward
Personal Injury attorney Mr. Erik M. Ward, of Ogden, UT, has more than 40 years of experience representing thousands of injured people. Mr. Ward accepted the Lifetime Achievement Aware from the Weber County Bar in 2020. Mr. Ward was born in San Francisco, California. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in Utah before returning to California to attend the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated Cum Laude. Mr. Ward became a member of the California State Bar in 1977 and a member of the Utah State Bar in 1978.
Mr. Ward co-founded Gridley, Ward & Hamilton with Findley Gridley in 1982. Four partners of the firm have been appointed as Judges. He has been successfully representing injured persons for over 40 years, hiring only the best attorneys to maintain the firm’s “Tradition of Success”. Mr. Ward was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Weber County Bar.
Mr. Ward utilized the experience he gained while working in the medical field in choosing to represent people who have been injured through no fault of their own. Mr. Ward has represented thousands of injured people. He/his firm, has won substantial verdicts for people injured in automobile, trucking, and train collisions; his team of lawyers won a $16.4 million verdict for an injured child after a four week trial in Salt Lake City.
Erik and his wife, Linda, have three children and eight grandchildren.
They enjoy traveling, gardening, and being outdoors.
Lindy Hamilton
Mrs. Lindy Hamilton is the managing attorney for Your Injury Attorneys, Gridley, Ward, and Hamilton. She was born in Walnut Creek, California. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1989.
She lived in various places and attended a few colleges before returning to Utah and graduating from Weber State University. Mrs. Hamilton received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a double minor in English and Spanish. Mrs. Hamilton then attended the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, having been awarded the Abriella Hinckley Scholarship for her involvement in politics. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate degree in 1998. During law school, Mrs. Hamilton was employed by Westlaw, a unique opportunity where she gained specialized training in legal research.
Mrs. Hamilton is a member of the Utah State Bar, The American Bar Association, and a Golden Eagle with the Utah Association for Justice; she is licensed to practice in both State and Federal Courts in the state of Utah.
Although Mrs. Hamilton has practiced miscellaneous areas of the law for the experience, or as a rare favor, she has specialized in tort law since graduating from law school. At seventeen, Mrs. Hamilton was injured in an automobile accident, changing her view of insurance claims and vowing to fight the injustice therein; she discovered the reality of being injured in an accident, including many hidden effects and repercussions victims struggle to endure.
Lindy is married to Jason, owner of Dry Fly Concrete and, her high school sweetheart.
The Hamiltons' favorite hobby is fly fishing with family and friends.
Robert W. Gibbons
Robert W. Gibbons is a personal injury attorney in Ogden, UT. Originally from Orem, UT, Mr. Gibbons completed his studies with a major in English and minor in editing at Brigham Young University.
He then went to Washington, D.C., to attend The George Washington University Law School. While there, he clerked for a large personal injury law firm, which is where he developed a lifelong desire to be an advocate for people with serious injuries.
On the side, Robert occasionally finds time for reading, writing, and acting. He and his wife, Jocelyn, are parents to two adorable youngsters, Peter and Jeremy.
Robert is fluent in Spanish, which he learned while serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He became a member of the Utah State Bar in October 2010.
