Erik M. Ward

Erik M. Ward

Personal injury attorney, Mr. Erik M. Ward, of Ogden, UT, has more than 30 years of experience representing thousands of injured people. Mr. Ward was born in San Francisco, California. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in Utah before returning to California to attend the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated Cum Laude. Mr. Ward became a member of the California State Bar in 1977 and a member of the Utah State Bar in 1978.

Mr. Ward is the president and managing shareholder of Gridley, Ward & Hamilton. He has been successfully representing injured persons for over 30 years. He took the experience he gained while working in the medical field and chose to represent people who have been injured through no fault of their own. Mr. Ward has represented thousands of injured people. He has won substantial verdicts for people injured in automobile, trucking, and train collisions; his team of lawyers won a $16.4 million verdict for an injured child after a four week trial in Salt Lake City.

Mr. Ward is currently an advisory board member of Utah Associates for Justice, a member of the Utah Brain Injury Association, the Weber County Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Ward has served on the Board of Governors of the Utah Trial Lawyers Association and as President of the Weber County Bar Association. Mr. Ward is admitted to practice in all Federal and State Courts in the state of Utah.

Erik and his wife, Linda, have three children and his hobbies include all types of sports and recreational activities.
Lindy Hamilton

Lindy Hamilton

Mrs. Lindy Hamilton is a personal injury attorney in Ogden, UT, at the office of Gridley, Ward and Hamilton. She was born in Walnut Creek, California. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1989. She lived in various places and attended a few colleges before returning to Utah and graduating from Weber State University. Mrs. Hamilton received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a double minor in English and Spanish. Mrs. Hamilton then attended the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, having been awarded the Abriella Hinckley Scholarship for her involvement in politics. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate degree in 1998. During law school, Mrs. Hamilton was employed by Westlaw, a unique opportunity where she gained specialized training in legal research.

Mrs. Hamilton is a member of the Utah State Bar, The American Bar Association and Utah Association for Justice; she is licensed to practice in both State and Federal courts in the state of Utah. Mrs. Hamilton is a shareholder and the Vice-President of Gridley, Ward & Hamilton.

Although Mrs. Hamilton has practiced miscellaneous areas of the law for the experience, or as a rare favor, she has specialized in tort law since graduating from law school. At seventeen, Mrs. Hamilton was injured in an automobile accident, changing her view of insurance claims and vowing to fight the injustice therein; she discovered the reality of being injured in an accident, including many hidden affects and repercussions victims struggle to endure.

Lindy is married to Jason, owner of Dry Fly Concrete and, her high school sweetheart. The Hamiltons’ favorite hobby is fly fishing with their three boys.
Robert W. Gibbons

Robert W. Gibbons

Mr. Robert W. Gibbons is a personal injury attorney in Ogden, UT. Originally from Orem, UT, Mr. Gibbons, completed his studies with a major in English and minor in Editing at Brigham Young University. He then went to Washington, D.C. to attend The George Washington University Law School. While in D.C., he clerked for a large personal injury law firm, which is where he developed a lifelong desire to be an advocate for people with serious injuries.

On the side, Robert occasionally finds time for reading, writing, and acting. He and his wife, Jocelyn, are parents to two adorable youngsters: Peter and Jeremy.
Robert is fluent in Spanish, which he learned while serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He became a member of the Utah State Bar in October 2010.

Mark

Mark chose to become a trial lawyer when his grandfather passed away due to the careless conduct of another. Since then, Mark has striven to obtain justice and right the wrongs for those who have been injured. 
Mark’s practice is focused on serious injuries, wrongful death, nursing home abuse, sex abuse and truck and tractor trailer cases. Mark’s goal is to make sure companies are held accountable for their unsafe actions and prevent them from harming others in the future.  
Since 2013, Mark has served as a faculty member for the Keenan Ball Trial College teaching other lawyers on topics including Opening statements, Jury Selection, Case Selection and Depositions.     
Mark earned his undergraduate degree from Utah State University and graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
Mark loves to spend time in the outdoors with his wife Nikki, and his three boys, Porter, Mason and Easton.
Mark is licensed to practice in Utah.
